Any Ideas?

I have had a pain behind my Heart it feel like it's in my back, and it's not a sharp pain it's a dulling pain that happens with the random of movements.  I played basketball a month ago and that's when the weird dullness starter. That's my first question.  I had an EKG done a couple months ago and everything was fine, that's why I don't think it has to do with my heart.

2. At random times I feel shaky, not like MS shaky but an internal shaking, I have been on and off of HBP meds for 2 years now, I'm currently trying to exercise 5 days a week to bring my bp down along with diet.  Could this be a result of being on and off the meds?  Doc and a lot of other people say it's lack of sleep/anxiety that is causing it.  What do you think?

3. Final question is because i have such bad side effects from HBP meds to you think I will be able to bring my bp down with a lot of cardio and diet?  my bp ranges from 138/100- 155/110.  I also take lipitor and was wondering if Burning of the back and chills is a reaction to it?

Thank You guys!

Thanks for the information, see the problem is that I have tried so many hbp meds and they give me really bad side effects, they have tested my liver function and kidney function and they are fine. I've had 24hour urine done a bunch of times and been tested for every and anything. My Gp has diagnosed me with primary hypertension(I guess genetic-I'm 5"10" 183lb.) all of the bp meds give me bad side effects. That's why I'm trying to do 45min on the treadmill 5 days a week.  How long does it take for lipitor to get out of your system? I have also developed ibs type symptoms from the stress of going on and off of bp meds and having bad reactions. I alos suffer from anxiety, mixed together with all these other symptoms and tossing and turning in my sleep everynight, I'm not feeling well. Yet on paper the only thing they can say is that I'm healthy with primary hypertension. Thank you so much for your help! I look forward to your reply and insight on my on going health anxiety.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Muscle aches and pains or even burning and tingling can be due to Lipitor. This drug can cause kidney and liver dysfunction and this may cause the feeling of internal shakiness. I suggest you get a kidney and liver function test and talk to your doctor regarding all this being due to Lipitor.
It is difficult to bring down a BP of 155/110 by diet and exercise only. However if there is an underlying cause such as kidney or liver problem, then treating the cause may help. If it is essential hypertension (without a cause) then drugs would be required.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
