Very interesting vivi343. You made me look up something about which I knew nothing.
I'm happy you got a diagnosis.
Well, it's been a long time, but I have seen a neurologist and a cardiologist, and have now been diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome. apparently my heart rate spikes to about 180 when i stand up, and my blood pressure goes down to about 60/40.
I've increased my salt and water which is helping, and i've started taking a low dose of a beta blocker. thank you for your suggestions. i thought i'd let you know the diagnosis. :)
i went to our grocery store and get my blood pressure taken. it's 119/91. i've started getting bad headaches when i walk around too long. one of my friends told me that 91 is not good since i'm young. low thyroid problems run on my moms side. i've been tested for it many times with negative results. are these possible symptoms?
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
The symptoms could be due to a stomach ulcer. Take any antacid, omeprazole, cold milk and eat frequent small meals and see if it helps. It could also be due to hypothyroidism, adrenal gland problems, PCOD (polycystic ovary) or due to migraine attack. You will need to consult a doctor for confirmed diagnosis.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
