Dizziness

Hi, i had vertigo dizziness 5 months ago, and from that day I dont feel normal again. I am dizzy every day, i almost cant do my normal life activities. I also have a headache every day, and every day i need to take some medication for my headche. i mean it is not healthy to take those medications every day but i just have to. from all that dizzines i also develop fear from being dizzy, so i am scared to go anywhere cause i know that i will get dizzy and that i will not feel well. like i said its happening for a 5 months and its hard to live like this. i always feel i am off balance , even if i just walk through the house. my blood pressure is 108/66. i did all the blood work, and verything was fine except vitamin d was low, but i am taking it now. I also notices that i have severe dizzines when i ger my period, i have to stay in bed at least two days, cause even if i get up to go to bathroom, i am scared that i will faint. so my doctor told me to do some hormones lab work, so we will see. i am 26.

You need your sugar checked.
Also ask your Doc if you have a heart murmur. I had the dizzy thing going on for 4 to 5 years. Turned out I have a genetic heart condition (born with it). If it had been diagnosed in my twenties it would have been treatable and it would have spared me 4 weeks in the hospital, a helicopter ride and open heart surgery. I was lucky enough to have coworkers who knew CPR. 85% of the people who have my condition don't survive the first episode.
Not saying you have the same thing. Just saying that the dizzy spells are the first sign of a heart that isn't pumping enough blood.

Thank you guys for the comments. i dont even know anymore, it feels like its never going to end. I just got my hormones checked and its was fine. My next step is to do MRI, i already tried to do an OPEN MRI ,but i couldnt do it, i got very nervous and we had to stop it. So idont even know how am i going to do it. I also noticed that i cant tolerate the light in the house. like when it getting dark, like 5 6 p.m. and when we turn the light on, i feel like my head cannot tolerate the light, so i just put turn it off and put the lamp on. But i dont have any problem with my vision or with my ears. I dont know, I am just exhausetd of not feeling well, and the worst thing is i dont know what it is.

Other causes of feeling dizzy can be caused by inner ear problems.  The inner ear is part of the ear that is responsible for balance.  Your doctor may refer you to see a Ears, Nose and Throat specialist to see if there is a problem with your ears.

As you appear to feel much worse when you get a period, if you have not done so yet, get a blood test done to check your iron levels as well as the Vitamin B12 levels.  Having low iron levels can cause anaemia and if your levels are too low, you won't be getting enough oxygen get to your brain.  Your blood pressure is on the low side and your doctor should be able to give you advice with regard to that.

Other reasons for dizziness can be related to your spine and especially your neck.

Stress and anxiety issues can also cause dizzy feelings.

Your doctor will arrange for you to have other tests done to see if he can find out the cause of the dizziness.  Sometimes no cause can be found and you may be prescribed with a medication that is used for travel sickness to stabilize your balance issues.

Make sure that you have a well balanced and healthy diet and eat plenty of fruit and vegetables, meat, fish etc.  If you do not eat meat, make sure that you eat nuts and other foods that contain the minerals and vitamins that you would miss out on by avoiding meat and fish.  Make sure too that you drink plenty of fluids, especially water.  Being dehydrated can also cause dizzy turns.

Having an imbalance of sugar levels in the body, does not normally cause dizzy turns, but it is still worth getting it checked out.  An HBA1C blood test can show the average sugar levels in your blood over a period of 12 weeks.  There would be other symptoms of sugar problems, but sometimes there are none.

Hope the cause is found soon so that you can get the correct treatment.

Best wishes.
