Lump on vulva

For about 6 weeks I've had a lump on my labia majora about half the size of a fingernail. It's itchy and sometimes painful like a pimple. It is completely smooth and the tissue around it isn't red or anything. Doesn't look like a wart or a sore at all. It hasn't changed

I'm thinking it's just an ingrown hair that is out of control. I have only one partner with no STD history and I have no history of STDs. I guess it's possible I have HPV or something, but in my case probably unlikely.

I also recently started Isoniazid for a Tuberculosis infection and the bump popped up literally right after I started that.

I can't go to the doctor unless it's very serious because I could get fired for taking off work. I already get in trouble when I go to pick up my TB meds.

Am I going to die? What is it?

From the Gynaecology For Postgraduate And Practitioners Textbook:

"Vulva TB presents as a painful non-healing ulcer or a growth over the vulva".

Genital Tuberculosis would be secondary to primary TB and I think you should have this medically evaluated, specially if it persists or if it becomes painful.

Best Wishes
Niko

PS Consider taking a good probiotic to counter the negative effects of  Isoniazid
