Extreme pain in penis after ejaculation.

I certainly hope you guy's and gal's can answer my question in reference to this type of pain...

So last night I'm sitting in my room, about to masterbate. I always ejaculate in a sock, or some form of cloth so there's no mess and virtually no trace of "after-effects." Anyways, to make a long story short, after I ejaculated, about 30 minutes later my penis begins to burn! Such as it's caught in a blazing fire or something! The evident symptoms imply this may be some sort of STD. But this isn't the case at all, as I've never engaged in sexual intercourse before. The negative effects of masturbation shouldn't consist of: chronic pain in the tip of penis, consistent burning and having a constant urge to urinate, nor should I have to suffer and pray to GOD for 45 minutes... LOL.

I'm beginning to believe these horrible symptoms are caused by my delaying the ejaculation process, not urinating prior to masturbation, and not blowing a load in the correct position (if there honestly is one).

Any responses are appreciated! Thank you!

Hello,
For such kind of pain after ejaculation, prostatitis needs to be ruled out. The typical symptoms of prostatitis are fever, pelvic, testicle, or rectal pain, frequent and painful urination and ejaculation and incomplete emptying of bladder. It is also possible that sitting on an inadequately padded surface or for prolonged periods of time is causing transient irritation to the prostate. This could be appearing as the pain in the penis after ejaculation.

You will need ultrasound, X-ray, and computerized tomography (CT) along with prostatic fluid examination along with prostate specific antigen. A culture of the expressed prostatic secretions (EPS) can help in ruling out or confirming the diagnosis. A test named as Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) test can also help as PSA is raised in Prostatis. A Urologist can diagnose the condition by digital examination as well.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Sounds like sock burn on your tip to me, *** into the sock, don't wank with it on..! However, if it does still happen then definitely see your GP.

There is a whole other thread at this site with people that have the same exact problem. The similarities are striking.

I've had all those tests you've mentioned and have ruled out everything except Interstitial Cystitis.

Over 80% of males that are diagnosed with non-bacterial chronic prostatitis are misdiagnosed and instead have Interstitial Cystitis.

This is currently an incurable disease, but A LOT MORE medical research has been done on it in the last 2-3 years.

The problem is that most doctors (including urologists) are clueless when it comes to Interstitial Cystitis.

As a patient, you will feel like you are spending a lot of money, constantly going to doctors, and getting no help.

I can tell you that at least 90% of the people on this other thread have exactly my symptoms, and are only symptoms of Interstitial Cystitis.

Doctor, if you are not one of the men who have experienced this life ruining experience, count yourself lucky.

I have those symptoms as well, but the burning seems do concentrate between my pelvis and my belly. I've seen a doctor but he couldn't guess what happens. I feel that blazing burning often when I have to urinate after masturbation, rarely after sex (I have a girlfriend). I have no burning sensation otherwise. I think it probably has something to do with the combination of urine and sperm. I hope someone finds more on this strange disease.

I tried to post my experience in the thread ThisIsWhyDoctorsFail mentioned but it was blocked off.

May 18th, 2011 I had had early symptoms of pink eye. My 2 yr old had just gotten over it so I was sure I caught it from him. I was masturbating in the room and used an old shirt to clean myself off. I had forgotten that the shirt I used was the same to clear some of the mucus from my eyes.

On May 20th, 2011. I was at work and experienced a pain/burning on the tip of my penis. This was out of the blue. I was not masturbating or touching my penis in any way. It caught me completely off guard and scared the hell out of me.

The pain continued for several days. The tip of my penis was extremely sensitive to touch, particularly when my shorts would rub up against it. After a couple of days the pain subsided, but never really went away. I felt a slight pressure or burning when I would pee. Every time I got up or sat down I would have a bit of incontinence and some urine would dribble out. When this would happen, the burning would seem to come back during that episode. It wouldn't last long but it was there.

Fast forward to a couple of weeks later. The pain was still there, not as often but it was there. When I would masturbate, it seemed to agitate or make it worse. I wasn't putting two and two together at this point.

I decided it was time to go to my doctor and ask a couple of questions. I was beginning to think that maybe my wife had an affair and I had caught something. I spoke with my doctor. He seemed to think it was a tear in my urethra. He told me usually those heal up pretty quick and give it another month and see what happens. I waited two more weeks and couldn't stand that uncomfortable feeling anymore. I went back to the doctor and had him run a complete STD test. He checked my penis, testicles, and opened up my pee hole for a quick glance. Urine sample and blood test all came back clean. He referred me to a urologist to see if they had any bright ideas.

At the urologist I explained my pains. I asked him if it could be prostititus. He didn't seem to think so. He said something would have showed up in the urine sample they had me take. I didn't mention the pink eye thing. Why? I duno. I guess I was thinking that with the urine test it would have showed bacterial. Anyways, he wrote down my symptoms, checked my penis, and testicles. He said he sounded like interstitial cystitis. He said a urodynamics test was the only way to confirm if that was the case. I had the procedure done. It was probably the most uncomfortable/painful thing I experienced. Later that night I ended up going to the ER. My lower back was in so much pain I was crying. They preformed a CT scan on me. The doc said the pressure from the test was causing my symptoms. He said it was basically like a man-made injections of kidney stones.

The results came back from the uyrodynamics test. He said everything looked ok and ruled out interstitial cystitis. He said that it might be diet related and to drink plenty of water. I told him symptom wise that the irritation was nowhere near as extreme as it was when it first started.

So here I am today. The symptoms are not as extreme. I stopped masturbating all together. I don't want to agitate or bring back the severity of the symptoms again. The pressure/burning after or during I pee still comes and goes. After intercourse with my wife I get the burning sensation after ejaculating, sometime I don't. I am writing this in tears. I think back to when I had no problems. When I could sit down and pee with my son as I try to potty train him and enjoyed it. I am in so much fear when I go to the restroom. I have dreams about this problem. I have racked up so much in medical bills trying to figure this out. I am at a loss on what to do. I try not to think about it as much. I don't want to take away from what my son and wife deserve of me, his dad and her husband.

I have my physical with my primary doctor coming up. I am going to ask him to see if he can test my PSA levels when they draw blood. I am afraid that my urologist will just want to preform a cytoscopy and find nothing again and leave me with another fat medical bill.

You're not alone guys.
