Frequent, Excessive Hunger

I am a 24-year-old male with persistent excessive hunger. I cannot go for more than about 90 minutes without feelings of ravenous hunger and symptoms of hypoglycemia. I have tested for hypoglycemia, but symptoms occur in the mid-60s, well before the standard blood glucose level identified as hypoglycemic. I have had my thyroid tested (normal) and two blood panels: standard metabolic (CO2 level slightly high at 34, otherwise normal) and standard blood test (normal). I have seen a counselor. This is a real physical problem, but I can't find a doctor who will listen to me. I follow a healthy diet, limiting carbohydrates as much as possible. I don't know what I should tell a doctor so that he or she will listen to me. What additional tests might help identify possible causes?

Sleep is fine. Mid-60s is close to clinical hypoglycemia, but the doctors that I've seen won't diagnose me as hypoglycemic. I eat all the time, so I don't understand why it drops so often.

Isn't mid 60's considered a low blood sugar?

How is your sleep? People with insufficient quantity or poor quality sleep often feel hungry because their appetite hormones get out of kilter. (60 Minutes did a special on sleep a few weeks ago.)
