Don't feel too odd. I have this problem, too, and so did another girl in my high school. It just happens to the best of us. :)
I have the same problem and I am at a loss what to do. I feel uncomfortable because when I go to someone's home, people begin swatting and I know I brought the gnats in. I would love a doctor to coment on this. This problem is making my life difficult. I also do not have diabetes, rarely wear perfume, wear clean clothes, wash my hair regularly and wear the same deodorant I've been wearing for year. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've read that taking a B complex vitamin will make you taste "bad" to biting insects.
I wonder if taking it would subtly change your aroma and chase away the gnats.
Wishing you the best,
Carol
Well from what I have found they are attracted to low salt but are repelled by high salt. We secrete salt from sweating. Are you retaining water? Do you happen to have well water where you are? Do you have high or low blood pressure? I have to eat more salt because I have very low blood pressure. Well water could be another reason as it can contain iron. By using a water softener which used salt to soften the water could help. I think your answer could very well be in your water even if you don't have a well. Buy a kit at the store to test your water. Your pipes could be a problem too if you don't have a well. Anyway I hope you get your answer.

i feel like pig pen.
i too hope a doc could respond to this.

I've had that happen, but not regularly. It is possible that the shampoo or soap you are using is fruit based or fruit scented. I would try switching out all my soaps/shampoos/detergents to something else and see if the problem resolves itself.
