Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
This could be a case of occipital neuralgia. This usually happens due to spinal nerve compression because of overuse of computers, work involving straining of neck, herniated disc, canal stenosis, bone disease, spondylosis, poor posture. You should have a MRI focusing only on C1-3 and also look at C1-2 instability.
A stiff neck due to muscle contraction can also cause occipital headaches. These can be treated with occipital nerve blocks.
Other than that it could also be anxiety and stress along with depression. I think you should discuss these possibilities with your doctor. It is difficult to comment beyond this without examining. Take care!

Before you jump to conclusions of stress and anxiety go and see your Doctor. You may require neurology and vascular examinations to rule out anything sinister. You mention change of colour and cold to touch, this gives warning signs.
Hope this helps.

It sounds like your dealing with stress issues.  I just recently went through it ans so did several other people where I was working.  We all had stress from the job.  The job itself may not even be stressful, but you may not exactly like the job or feel that you should be somewhere else or it could be things outside of work.  It's proven that stress causes health problems.  Believe me when I say I got headaches just like that, I was sick, fatigued, eating very little, I had a migraine for 11 days at one point and had to get 3 shots in the butt and 6 shots in my head to actually get rid of it, later things got so bad I started to have panic attacks.  It sounds like you need to figure out what's stressing you out so bad and confront the issue, figure out how to deal with it. The doctor prescribed me a very low dosage of lorezapem, it's very mild and I only used it when I found myself getting worked up, but it helped me.  I finally just left my job 2 months ago, and have been feeling ALOT better.  I decided no money was worth all I had been through.  I have never really got sick before that job, was sick constantly during the job, and am no longer sick now.  What's that tell ya??  Good luck
