Headaches, feeling tired & run down

Hi, Ive recently been feeling under the weather, ive suffered from migrane type headaches on and off for 2 weeks now, im sleeping for up to 12 hours if no alarm to wake me, on normal nights i sleep 9-10 hours, before my alarm goes off for work, and i still feel weak and tired most of the time. Im always thirsty and drink alot of water. i dont know if the two are related in anyway. Should i go see a doctor? or am i just generaly run down? I havent had anyother symptoms like runny nose etc, just the headaches.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
You could be having anemia, dehydration, hypothyroidism, diabetes or electrolyte imbalance. In females it can also be due to polycystic ovary. It can also be due to subclinical UTI (not having any symptoms). Hence first consult your PCP to rule these out. If all this is ruled out then it can either be a sleep disorder or depression or anxiety.
It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage.  Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

Hi...If you have not gone to the Dr. yet you might think about making an appointment...your symtoms could be anything from diabetes to the flu...but I think you should certainly get checked out by a Dr. to be sure. Good luck
