I am a 25 year old female desperately seeking help!

I have felt unwell since August 2016. Before I was an avid runner (5 mi/day) and active mom to 3. Now I am miserable because of chronic pain and headache.

My symptoms are:
-shooting pains all over body (legs, arms, fingers, toes)
-hot flushes
-severe constant headache (from when I wake up in the morning until I go to bed at night)
-random electric shock pains in back
-tingling feet
-palpable lymph nodes neck, underarms, groin (no bigger than 1 cm)

I have had many tests done since this started. All results normal.
-CBC
-SPEP
-lymph node biopsy (benign- sinus histeocytosis)
-Nerve conduction test (EMG)
-back x-ray (showed mild scoliosis but otherwise unremarkable)
-chest x-ray
-breast ultrasound and MRI (benign cysts found)

I have seen many doctors and spent thousands of dollars on medical testing and have felt ill for the last 6 months. I am desperate for ideas of what this might be. I just want my life back.

I just wanted to update that my MRI revealed many things that may be the cause of my problems. Four bone spurs, degenerative disk, reversal of cervical lordosis, and minimal cord abutment in three areas. Yikes! A lot of back problems for a 25 year old.

Thanks for your response. I was hoping to hear some theories that didn't involve malignancies. I am very worried. My neurologist has scheduled me for an MRI of my spine. Hopefully it will reveal the problem and not be another waste of money. :(

Hello~I am sorry you are experiencing all of these symptoms. The first thought that came to my mind was Fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue, were you tested for these? Also, not to alarm you, but MS can have these symptoms as well, if you have not seen a neurologist, I would suggest you do so.

I would also suggest seeing a chiropractor, you may have some pinched nerves in your neck and spine that are causing some of the symptoms.

I just want to add, I have also been tested for diabetes and have had 2 CT scans of my head. Both results were "perfectly normal."
