Vaginal Pain

During the last year I have been presenting a constant vaginal itching, discomfort and pain. Sometimes the pain feels like there is needles or acid all over the vaginal area.  I can't describe how painful it is. STD testing as well as biopsy have been performed and all the results are normal.  NO STD's.  I get very profuse abdominal pain especially on the left side of my abdomen and sometimes I get nausea. i have some better days than other but when is bad I can't hardly go to work.  I have been in three differents specialist and unfourtanetly nobody have been able to do anything for me.  I have been verifying my vaginal area pH  and it's usually high around 6.  I cant have intimacy with my husband because I'm constantly under tremendous pain.  I would like to know if there is anything you can recommed to improve my quality of life and to get a accurate diagnose and treatment for this condition.. I'm desperate... Thank you for any help you can provide ... Respectfully

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
I understand you have seen many specialists. Unfortunately, diagnosis is not possible on net. I am enumerating the possibilities that should be looked into.
Pain in the lower abdomen, pelvis, and vagina can be due to infection, pelvic inflammatory disease, UTI, STD, uterine fibroids, urinary bladder infection or cystitis. If you do not have any discharge and there is no other symptom then it can also be due to pinched nerve (either pudendal or spinal). These conditions are broadly classified as chronic pelvic pain syndrome. The intensity of pain depends on the degree of inflammation and thus compression. This can vary. IBS, Crohn's, ulcerative colitis, celiac disease, and food causing gas can be the other possibilities.
Take care!

heya, have you been tested for poly cystic ovaries as i have poly ovaries and i suffer from all them symtoms so you may wanna get that checked and for the itchyness have you tried using a different cream for the irritation or use a different saop/body wash as you may be have some sort of allergic reaction to it.

best wishes for the future :)
