I have no idea what is wrong with me

Hi all, wonder if anyone has felt what I'm feeling now.

I have back and neck pains. Feel tired most of the time. Sometimes when I'm at work, I don't seem to be able to control my arms. At times, I seem to have no strength in my limps. Sometimes I feel pain just below my right and/or left rib cage.

I thought that I might have HIV (see my other post), but a HIV rapid test at 2, 7, 8, 10 and 12 weeks and an ELISA at 10 weeks would have ruled that out. I tot it could be hepatitis, but a hep A and B test at 10 weeks and Hep C test at 12 weeks would have ruled that out too. I did a health screen in the 10 and 12 weeks, everything returned normal, apart from a high cholestral level.

I went on to read symptoms of high cholestrol, but apparently cholestral does not bring about any symptoms. I also check with my GP abt thyroid prob, but she said my thyroid function test result is normal, and sge couldn't feel any enlargement at my neck.

So what in the world is wrong?

You're welcome!

I'd recommend, if you do suspect MS based on your symptoms, you take a list of all the symptoms that can be associated with MS that you have & tell the doctor you would like to get tested to try to rule out or get diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

Also, please check with the doctor about those other tests I mentioned prior to my mentioning MS and let me know how you come out?

Have you tried steps like an ergonomic chair, feet flat on the floor and computer screen at a level where with good posture your eyes are level with the top third of it?  And what taking breaks from the computer, doing little shoulder rolls and neck exercises, things like that?

Thank you for your reply.

Should I now go to a GP and tell the GP I suspect MS? Or how should I proceed?

(Have you tried treating these pains beneath your ribs with simethicone or changes in diet?) - never.

Back and neck pains- have you tried going well-trained, licensed chiropractor or physical medicine doctor for an evaluation? - I go for massages, and they help alot. I suspect is more of posture as I stare at the comp for up to 14 hours a day.

Did you get your ferritin and iron levels checked?  Have they checked your B 12, B 6, and potassium levels as well as checked for diabetes?  Did they rule out MS?  Below your right rib cage is your gall bladder & liver & below your left could be stomach and behind stomach, pancreas.  Is it possible you have gas?  (Have you tried treating these pains beneath your ribs with simethicone or changes in diet?)  Back and neck pains- have you tried going well-trained, licensed chiropractor or physical medicine doctor for an evaluation?
