I'm dizzy with stomach issues for over 6 weeks!

So it started off with these crazy stomach aches, diarrhea, gas, bloating, and insane fatigue. Some days I slept the entire day and just felt "off". I thought maybe it was stress or food poisoning but after a couple of weeks the symptoms didn't go away. Then I would get dizzy, light headed, and nauseous. I'd try to eat more to feel better but nothing helped.
I went to the doctor and had to do some blood tests and a gross stool test as they thought it could be parasites. Apparently it didn't come back with anything. After they told me it could be parasites though I began taking a ton of prebiotics and drinking kombucha. I immediately got a cold - sore throat, cough, the usual. My *poop* was normal after this- no gas or diarrhea. I'm still a little sick and am still feeling lightheaded though...
They want me to come in for a colonoscopy. I'm young (under 30) and this freaks me out! Any ideas out there?
Oh and I'm less fatigued. Still a little tired, not clear headed at all - feel foggy minded!Just wondering if you all have advice for me.

Personally, I would put the colonoscopy on the back burner for now.
It would be reasonable to assume that your cold was likely a consequence of your lowered immunity, which (immunity) seems to have improved now.
From the details in your post, it looks like you might be in recovery mode, with some die-off effects.
A colon cleanse might be in order, specially if you had indeed a parasitic infection.
The colon is the final habitat of parasites.
Continue with prebiotics and probiotics and adding some coconut oil (which has antifungal, antiviral, antimicrobial and antiparasitic properties), would help as well.
Best wishes,
Niko
