Jugular vein stenosis, do i need surgery or something else?

So after 5 months of headaches and sleeping on my right side as well as other symptoms i think i know at least what the problem is. The first mri scan showed mastoid changes on my right side, as well as possible sigmoid sinus thrombosis. After my mri angiogram it came that there's no or little blood flow in my right internal jugular vein. No other problem with the sinuses. But why do i have all my symptoms on the left side? I can feel the pressure of the left sinus draining and my neck hurts and i get some spasm. And also pain around the temple and heat also pain in ear. They recommended a cervical venogram. Do i need a stent or what can i do? It really keeps me from doing anything, and meds don't really help

If you have little blood flow through the Right Jugular Vein, collateral veins are likely carrying blood around to the left side to allow the blood to drain out properly. This can cause congestion of left sided veins and this may explain the left sided problems. Can your doctor perform angioplasty of the Right Jugular Vein before stent placement to see if that would provide any relief?

Hello~It sounds like you may benefit from chiropractic treatments, you could very well have some mis-aligned vertebrae and pinched nerves causing your issues. He/she will take some x-rays, read them, and then discuss the findings with you. After a few treatments you should start to feel better. It is certainly worth a try.
