not really sure

mid october started experiencing frequent urination,  went to dr  , the to urologist  , then had cytoscopy, no fun.  l had no pain before iw ent to urologist , just having frequent urination , when i left urologist , i had pain as result of the cytoscopy, that seems to mostly subside ina few days , but then a linguring burning came back  through my penis and scrotum area  and hasnt really gone away since, its ebven burning when i go poop,  i cant tell where the burning is coming from now . i do tend to pay attenetion to the affected area when somethingis bothering me and fear i may be aggravation it myself. its frustrating  and have had  MRI , cat scan   bllod work  , urine work done and all negative,  it sometimes burns when i pee  , but not always and  seems to be very sensitive on the outside of the penis  as well as the scrotal area.  i have had erections since  and have masyrbated,  it doesnt really feel any worse while i am doing this , but  seems to burn worse after,  sounds stupid , i know , just wondering what the answer might be. could i have an infection as result of the cytoscopy??   is this a nerve thing??  thx  JJB

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Get semen analysis done as well. It can even be prostatitis. Commonest cause of increased frequency of urination is UTI, both due to a STD and non STD infection. However increased frequency of urine is also seen in diabetis mellitus and diabetes insipidus. Small for size bladder is another cause and so also neurogenic bladder. Another possibility is a polyp or a growth inside the urethra. At times a hair too grows inwards and keeps tickling the urethra causing a need to urinate. A frenulum tag too can cause this type of sensation.
Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Take care!
