Vertigo, walking imbalance and slurring speech problems

My mother aged 60 yrs suffering from dizziness while sitting or standing and imbalance during walking from last two months. She also sometimes has slurred speech and lack of coordination and nausea/vomiting . Her BP, hemoglobin and sugar is normal. Initially treated by a ENT specialist for 15 days and a audiogram test was also done. Test was normal with minor hearing loss in left ear. Even after 15 days of medication no improvement took place. Then she was referred to neurologist. Brain MRI & EEG done and was normal. Then he prescribed medicines for depression and followed by medicine for parkinson's disease. As she takes medicine of parkinson's, she starts vomiting. Xray for cervical done. Minor reduced gap between c5 and c6 disc observed indicating preliminary stage of cervical spondilysis.  Then  doctor suggested cervical belt which she wears regularly from last one week. In spite of all above treatment no big improvements taking place..Please guide accordingly.

Wow, a lot going on.  Vertigo, walking imbalance because of it, etc. can often be due to inner ear dysfunction but it she's been to an ENT. So, assume they checked that.  Is she diagnosed with Parkinson's?  If she vomited when taking medication, that is not uncommon.  You are supposed to take it 30 minutes before or 1 to 2 hours after a meal and with a full glass of water.  People who have the side effect of nausea are recommended to eat soda crackers with it or some juice.  If nausea persists, they often given a product to help with that --  supplemental carbidopa.  And there are some different meds to try, dosing options, etc.  Not sure if this helps but I'd continue to work with the specialists to help her feel better.  Parkinsons is rough and slowing progression of the disease is the goal rather than cure which is always a mentally tough thing to acknowledge.  But again, not sure if she was diagnosed with that.
