Mysterious bug under my skin, crawling on my scalp

This is my first post, I've been reading this forum for about a month now, reading about evetything from how to cure scabies to mites.

I'm 27 years old, live in Dallas Texas and here is my story...

First, we've always had a fly problem at every house we go to. You know, the little fruit fly looking things. However, we're not big fruit eaters and don't have any out. They seem to love the trash and the sink (different fly?).

Up to 6 months ago I felt like a bug was crawling on me when I sat on my couch and bed (different apartment), our first assumption was bed bugs and we treated the house (using bombs) for these, the crawling feeling slowed but never fully stopped.

We recently moved (2 months ago) and I felt the same thing on the couch and bed, even worse actually. So much so that we had to throw the couch out. The couch had a mattress in it, it ended up staying out back for a little while until one day I looked out there and it had little black bugs crawling all over it. During this time it seemed I ws being attacked at night by whatever this is, constant crawling all over my head. I usually stay up late to work (upwards of 5AM sometimes) and the entire time this crawling is going on. When I get in the bed it's even worse.

Now here we are at present day. Three days ago I started feeling like whatever this was is now in my skin (I'm certain of it), It's under the skin on my face, my scalp, my back, my toes, and my feet. I can feel it crawling in and out of my anus at times also.

Went to the dermatoligist today and of couse he says it's my imagination, some people get it. He's subscribed me some DEXEPIN for depression. :(  Funny thing is I'm not depressed, my life was quite good until this bug showed up.

I can feel them crawling under my skin, they hang out in my ear (not sure if under the skin or just in the canal) all day, it's gross. No one in the house (my wife and 3 kids) can feel them. My wife has bites all up and down her legs and even a protruded ring looking this on her forearm.

As you might have imagined I'm loosing my mind and life, nothing is the same. And now that the doctor says it's my imagination I cant even get my mom or wide (even though she has a lot of bites) to believe what I'm feeling is real. This makes everything 99.9% harder.

At first I thought it was bird mites (lots of trees around our apartment), then I thought scabies (becuase I can see tracks under my skin), and now I'm thinking it's some kind of fly. There are flys everwhere in this apartment. The disposal was broken when we moved in and it had  flies coming out, they are still around even today (and it's broken again). The bathroom has the flies, in fact, there are several dead in the tub.

I spray the tub down with bleach/water after getting out and noticed when I spray the faucet part some of it turns black (black mold?).

Could this be a bot fly? What do I need to do to get rid of it. Now that the dermatologist was no hope (second doc I've seen, first gave me Pemethrin which did not work) I was thinking of ordering some Stromectol / Ivermectin and Green Kleen Green online.

Recently I had jock itch for the first time in my life, had been taking Gris Peg (Griseofulvin) when this all started to intensify. Please if anyone has been through anything like this offer your sound advice.

I am you g for a 3d repeat MRI tomorrow. I have bumps nodules on my head and I swear they move! Some days I can not walk.
Somthing was see in the last MRI.
The Very few that I am brave enough to to admit That I think it's carpet Beatles think I'm crazy. I just tell them to google it one side of my heD id heave now. I've been getting virtego.
I pray if this is what's ailing me that it can been seen n the MRI I am an intelligent person. I'm sitting here pouring  rubbing alcohol on my heard! I have the stickiness, the crushing. Dr.s just looks at me like I'm crazy. Just diagnosed with narcolepsy bt MRI Sheduled because I don't follow the norm.
I will come back. I also take pictures with my iPhone and iPad. Best to face a mirror. Multilevel bums very sore and sticky scabing. If this thing crawls out tonight and nothing shows it I'll b hard to post from my straight jacket but I'll try. My daughter's school is repeatdeatly sending notes home " head lice,  Bed bugs, I read about Carpet Beatles and it matches everything h I am going through. I also saw someone on You tube use the tape to draw them out. So gross!

I have suffered from Morgellons for two years now. You can forget about getting help from doctors, especially in Canada where the socialist medical system is completely bankrupt. That's futile and quite possibly a very very disturbing encounter. I had one doctor launch into a disgraceful rant that came within about two seconds of him winning a flattened nose. That jerk will MOST DEFINITELY turn on his heels if he ever sees me again. I was covered in lesions what wouldn't heal and this clown took a momentary glance at me and said "you did this to yourself". The clue to what's going on here can be found in the appearance of meth heads. Throughout our lives we encounter many toxic chemicals that our livers recognize as dangerous and it creates small pockets to store them safely and prevent them from entering the blood stream. Something happens that compromises the liver and some get released. Meth heads deliberately poison themselves in a very short period of time. It takes the rest of us a lifetime to encounter that much toxic material. I honestly have no idea whether or not I will ever recover but I do know that a totally healthy lifestyle free of booze and bad food is central to keeping this under control. I have my face under control now, but the open sores and lesions have moved to my legs big time. I'm currently getting strange welts that turn into what appear to be scratches with only gentle touching like normal washing. Hopefully threads like this will lead to solutions, Best of luck everyone

I have the same thing. Thoght i had nervous itching until i was writing and small dust like particles fell on table,however, they were,alive. A white tiny long bug crawled out.  I bought lice spray and sprayed my body and head ,says not to but i am desperate.  All at once tiny tiny bugs started to move and fall from hair, some black with wings as if in different stages of development. Im freaked at this point. Dr sent cream parifin after applying it was fross. I felt then trying to get iut. Little bumps started to appear and they were trying to get near eyes. Im scared. Spraying everything now. Im very clean,so not sure what this is.

I've been living this nightmare for almost 5 years.  I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. I'll give you the shortened summary.

After a 2 night stay at a motel, which we had stayed at many times before on our trout fishing trips, we noticed something biting us. We got home, and within a week or two, we had gnats of some kind all in the house.  We could see them flying at night around the lights.  They got in my hair, bit my head, the backs of my arms,  and my temples. We bought every pesticide we could get our hands on. Nothing worked. That was five years ago.

Whatever it is ended up in our clothes, and in every nook and cranny in the house. I trapped some, and took them to the local county extension office.  They said they were drain gnats, and would go away in the winter.....not !!

They are invasive, and I have them internally.  After two trips to a clinic and no answers, they set me up with a parasite specialist at a major university hospital.  I waited 6 months for the visit.  When I told the doc what I was going through, he said "What you are describing only happens in 3rd world countries."  He offered me a mental evaluation.  I was devastated !!!

I was coughing up larvae, had a worm come out of my nose. My eyebrows are puffed up, and I have knots on my scalp.  They are in my lungs, throat, scalp, mouth, and there are visible lines on my forehead, running down to my eyes and nose.

Anyway, I have so much more I could say, but I'll cut to the chase.  After reading everything I could find online (CDC, medical journals, naturopath sites, etc.)  I sought help at ************. I was very sick, and fairly sure I was dying from this.  I posted a plea for help....this is what has helped me..

The first two- aren't taken together.  Take one or the other.

Fenbendazole - antiparasitic.  You can get it at your local farm/home supply, or order it online from pet supply sites.
Ivermectin - antiparasitic - Same places, and I get it from Amazon in 6 packs.

These two are dosed by body weight.  The tube is marked for dosing. I had no side affects with either.

Doxycycline - long term bacterial antibiotic.  When you kill parasites, the die off can cause bacterial infections.  Thomas Labs sells it in 100 mg packets. I take it with applesauce and 8 oz. of water twice daily.  

It's the very same meds as you would get if you could find a doc to prescribe it.

The following are natural antiparasitics

Fresh garlic chopped up fine.  1 tablespoon morning and night.
Fresh papaya, and fresh pineapple, put in a blender, then make a smoothie with plain yogurt and honey.  Crush the papaya seeds and take a tablespoon at a time with honey.  Strong killer, but bad taste.  Chase with lots of water.
Lugols Iodine.  I add it to my smoothie.  Start off with one drop, then increase.  I use 4 drops, and will increase later.  

Cheap brand of Listerine (it's half the price) mixed with peroxide for the mouth. Gargle and hold it in mouth as long as possible. Do this several times a day.  Alternate with very warm sea salt water.
Flush sinus with the sea salt water.

For scalp - cold pressed coconut oil.  Heat it up and apply to hair and scalp.  Cover with saran wrap and a bandana and leave  it on for a couple hours or over night.  To get it out - mix apple cider vinegar, a little peroxide, Epsom salts, and a couple drops of Dawn.  Let it sit a minute, then shampoo as usual. Your scalp will feel amazing.

The coconut oil is delicious on toast, and makes a killer grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwich !!!

Dear Riverwynch:  Thank you.  I see it's been a few years since your post, however, I figured I'd give it a shot.  I am suffering the same exact symptoms ten fold I believe as far as the quantities in body.  If you only knew what has come out of my body and the very strange things I would think was my imagination if not seen with my own eyes.  I have alleviated some of my annoyances - still battling others as it's been parasitic open season on my body for the last six months.  Going to try your remedy.
