ODD HEADACHE

I HAVE BEEN HAVING THESE ODD HEADACHES THAT I GUESS WOULD REALLY BE CALLED PAINS.  THEY OCCUR ONLY ON THE LEFT SIDE OF MY HEAD AND ONLY LAST 10-15 SECONDS AT A TIME. THE PAIN IS SO SEVERE I CANNOT REALLY TELL WHERE IT HURTS THE MOST BUT SOMETIMES IT WILL HAPPEN WHEN I MOVE, WHEN I YAWN, OR SOMETIMES EVEN WHEN I AM SITTING DOWN DOING NOTHING. ALTHOUGH THE ONLY LAST 10-15 SECONDS AT A TIME THEY ALSO OCCUR JUST AS MANY TIME A DAY.  ANY IDEAS???

You need to call your doc asap. This could be a sign there is something putting pressure on your eye!!! Not anything to take lightly. It sounds like something is bleeding in your brain. Please call your doc! Keep us posted. Good luck.

my headache took a weird turn last night. it actually hurt all night long waking me up multiple times and i felt some pressure in my left eye area followed by some numbness. when I woke up my nose was bleeding and i actually spit some blood out. i suppose from where its running behind in my throat.

Yes! Pregnancy can throw your body way out of wack. You need to tell you obgyn ASAP. Sometimes being pregnant can also reveal health issues that were there before but asymptomatic. That may be what's happening  to you.

May be something other than migraine. The nosebleed is of major concern to me. See a neurologist.

this is a migraine headache. certain foods like chocolate and peanut butter can trigger these. i get these too, but in long durations. some people with migraines actually hallucinate while having one. and yes, they are sensitive to light, sound, movement, and stress. i cannot explain the bleeding, but the weird taste in your throat is most likely vomit. you may end up vomiting quite a bit.

my best advice:
Percocets or 5 to 6 Tylenol.
also, any kind of opioid will help with the pain to the point where you may notice it, but it will still be there. you've just got to relax, or sleep, and it will eventually go away for good.
They have medications for this, but unless you're rich or live in canada, don't bother.
perscription migraine medicine costs about $1000 a bottle.
