Perinium Pain/Spasm...

I'm 25 years old and i play rugby.  Over the past couple of years i've racked up a fair few injurys playing rugby - Ligaments in my left ankle, Ligaments in the back of my left knee, Dislocated left shoulder, back spasms and now have mild sciatica in my left bum cheek. (which i think has something to do with my back spasm, anyways). Although i have had all these injurys it has not stopped me playing and now when i am training etc When training after a run or tackle sometimes i'll get a sharp stabbing pain in my perinium area which is excruciating. Afterwards i find it very difficult to walk/run and climbing into bed is not so easy.  This has been going on for a few months now. I haven't had any problems with passing urine but i do get bladder pains now and again.  Is there anything i can do to relive the pain like stretching/excerises?

I am not surprised! Still playing rugby with those amount of injuries is extremely dangerous. The stabbing pain may be a reaction to the injuries during intense sports. E.g. Rugby. There may be a damage to the nerve in your body which causes your body to have unexpected and uncontrollable spasms. You may have to see your doctor which will refer you to a physiotherapist to deal with these problems and get you back on track. For now I suggest you take it easy and not push your body over the limit. Good luck.

Yes still playing rugby but near the end of the season with 1 possibly two cup games to go. I plan on playing these games if i can manage them.  The way i see it i have all summer to recover and build myself up again for the season after. Doctors appointment is organised for next week.  I hope they can help me so i can get back to playing without the pain.  I'm to young to retire!

I would err on the side of caution and see your doctor to make sure there is no damage in that area.
