Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
The pain could be due to bad posture that could be causing a pinched nerve at certain angles. Please consult your doctor to confirm this. Then maybe a chiropractor can help you correct posture through proper exercises.
The other possibility is fibromyalgia. Take care!

um hey sweetie im 21 years old and i dont know what or why you are getting that but i get that to once every few months its a sharp pain like u said starts at the shoulder goes all down your side to your hip the only way i have found to get rid of the pain is to lay down for a few mins. also ithe reason we might get them is because when you are sitting down and you lean to one side more than the other like your leaning over to a friend kinda weird but i think it  pinches a nerve and stops the blood flow and oxygen that goes threw  let me know what you find out good luck darlin :)
