"I do wonder though, can you just bring your child into the Dr and request specific labs, and tests to be done on blood draws?"
You bet you can ! I've done it plenty of times with my physician and they've always ordered every lab I requested. I'm sure your child's physician will do so... as long as the labs are considered "reasonable". One thing you may want to do is check your insurance plan first.

Thank you, I will be looking into that right now. The thing is I haven't been extreamly worried until recently, I just got this feeling that something is not right, and I WILL NOT let those Dr's ignore me, I have some medical knowladge, I was in nursing school, and my mother is a nurse and my cousin (in another state) is a Dr.

Thank you, I have already been to this site. It was some help, but not much, that is why I chose to post on this site. I'm hoping someone can give me a better idea of whats going on, the articles can be so vauge, and broad. Agian thank you!
I know is Stills disease people typcially spike a high fever on a regular basis but from what I understand it's everyday around the same time. Maybe it can happen at other intervals than daily. I don't know much more about it than that so you may want to do a quick google on it and see if what else you can learn about it. Good luck and don't let the docs blow you off. Trust your maternal instinct; your son deserves it. If the docs don't take your seriously then I'd start seeing other specialist until you find one who will help you. Now matter how many stories I hear about docs ignoring a patients concern I'm still in disbelief at how doctors can loose so much common sense as to suggest that 104+ fever is EVER normal. Seriously, you know, I would consider taking him to the ER next time it happens. I think you might get a better response there. At some point, a fever in that range starts to fry your brain.
