Redness on my hands, feet, chest, arms and now my face

For the past 2 years, I have had occastional redness that occurs on my hands, arms, the top of my chest and my feet will become very swollen, hot to the touch and very, very red. When i push down on the redness it turns white and takes a good 4 or 5 seconds to turn back to the red color again. There is no itchiness and it does not look like a rash. This week my face has started to swell and has the redness there as well. At first it happened once a week, and slowly more often, and now its like twice a day.  Any suggestions?? Thanks Dawn

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
This can be due to severe anemia, heart problems, serious kidney disease, liver failure or disorder, electrolyte imbalance, polycystic ovary (in females), low protein in the blood, and disorders of adrenal gland. This is something for which you must consult a doctor ASAP, preferably an internal medicine specialist.
Take care!
