Tired in the morning with painful biseps ?

Every morning for about 3 months now I wake up tired and I have pain in my biseps. I feel like I was lifting weights in my sleep, that kind of pain. I never had anything like this before. I have GERDS, Barretts esophagus, and I suffer from Anxiety disorder, but I never had pains in my arms. I do have a few bad disk in my neck and lower back, but I think the pain would have showed up alot sooner, but I'm not a doctor. I haven't changed any my my medications . So I'm lost at what might be causing these pains. I told my doctor about it and he said, just take some Motrin 600mg. I have tried it and still have the pains in the morning. Anyone have any ideas ? I'm tired of being tired.

The nerves inflame the muscle and that is why you have muscle pains.

Would not getting a good nights sleep cause the muscle pains ????

You are not getting a good nights rest and that is more than likely the reason for the tiredness. If your body doesn't rest enough it doesn't matter if you slept all night or not. Your body isnt getting what it needs.

I guess that is possible, but whats causing the tired rundown feeling? I just had all my bloodwork done 2 months ago and it all came back fine!

It sounds to me like you have a pinched nerve in your neck. As a pinched nerve can cause a sharp, stabbing or shooting pain in your biceps.  You could go back to your dotor and have him run a couple of tests or go to a chiropracter and see if he or she can help.
