Sudden abdominal pain - any ideas?

Hi everyone.

I woke up this morning with a very sharp pain in the left side of my belly, just above and to the left of my navel. I'm sure it's nothing, but after several hours unable to stand straight it's getting a bit boring! Can anyone suggest anything that might help (apart from painkillers, which I'm taking)?

It can be a bad case of acidity, renal colic due to stone or colitis. Please consult a doctor immediately. Take omeprazole and antacids and see if it helps. Take care!

if you are unable to stand up straight, then it is time to consult a physician! Preferably a trip to the ER.  You can have something minor that may requiree nothing at all, but you may also be having symptoms of something much more severe.
