Weird Mosquito Bite - please help!

I was bit by a mosquito 3 times the other day and I have 2 concerns right now.

The first is, on one of the mosquito bites, there appears to be a small red dot or patch right in the middle of the bite. I dont know if its from me scratching but I'm worried it may be something else.

Secondly, I know this may be the wrong place to ask this specific question, but is there anyway of contracting HIV through mosquito bites?

Thanks so much for reading

Hi
Welcome to the forum!
A normal mosquito bite has a small puncture site in the middle where the proboscis of the mosquito entered. Scratching just makes it more prominent. No, you cannot contact HIV through mosquito bites as HIV virus does not survive in the mosquito.
Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
