Why is there a numb, tingly section on my middlw back?

I’m 17, I’ve had this section on my back that is numb to the touch for a few years, like I can’t feel if it’s being touched or not. It feels like that part of my back is asleep, but with out the pins and needles. The tingly pins and needles only happens if I’ve been in a certain position for too long, especially laying on my stomach. It also feels like it’s raw like it’s been being rubbed for too long. It isn’t very painful, just quite annoying.

Do you play sports, hunch over alot? Tingling is usually a sign of impairment of a nerve somewhere.
