Vmp
I was dressing my 5th month old caught today- as I was putting lotion in her chest I felt a bump between her rib cage- like where it meets....

Is this something to worry about?

We did go to the ped yesterday . She said it was normal - it was her sternum - we all apparently have it but we have our covered by fats bc we are adults....

It just got me worries bc I know lumps are bad. Thank you

Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
A lump there may just be a harmless lipoma or a neurofibroma (collection of nerve and fibre) in a small healthy child, but still take her to her pediatrician once and get this examined. Take care!
