Chills are caused by brain and the immune system's response to threats and other things. Chills can be cured in several ways including wearing temperature-adjusting clothes or chew clean natural rubber mixed with cane sugar from coconuts.
i would say check with the doctor just to be safe.
You have to provide a few more details than that please. It makes answering your question easier.
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Chills are difficult to diagnose on net without examining the patient and running some basic tests. I can enumerate the various causes and you can discuss with your treating physician. The commonest cause is viral fever (either on or about to start). Chills can be due to low blood sugar or hypoglycemia or due to low vitamin B12. It can also be malaria which is often difficult to catch by diagnostic tests. UTI is another common cause, and can present without fever and increase frequency. Pneumonia and ear infections are probably ruled out as you have no related symptoms that you report. General weakness as in anemia can be another cause. A comprehensive investigation is required keeping all these points in mind.
Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Take care!
