lump from navel to rib cage

The lump is about 1/3 inch in diameter and about 6 inches long, from navel to ribs.  I've been to my nurse practioner about this.  I had a few tests, one a sono(whatever) of my upper body, but the nurse thinks it's just my gallbladder.  I told her that I have difficulty breathing when exerting myself, can't tie my shoes without losing my breath, can't bend over without hurting, can't walk upstairs without stopping.  I am female and about 30 pounds overweight and have been working on reducing that for over a year (no progress).  I'm 65 and on a limited budget or I would be going to other doctors.  I can't find anything similar on the internet.  Does anyone have any suggestions on what this might be or even if it's serious, or maybe I shouldn't worry about it?

Hi,
A six inches long lump in the upper abdomen needs further evaluation. An examination by a Doctor and ultrasound scan and MRI will be necessary to make the exact diagnosis. The upper abdominal lumps are commonly from the liver, spleen, gall bladder or stomach. The lower abdomen lumps are commonly from the uterus, urinary bladder, and colon etc.
Hope this helps.
