rash joint pain tired

for 3 years I have a rash that just comes on my thighs to my knees.  It starts like a red dot but grow to a bigger spot that is ligher in the middle.  It does not itch.  After this starts my whole body will ache at the joints and I am very tired.  They is not set time when it comes.  The rash can last as long has three weeks but the joint pain can go on longer.  I have had 3 biopsy on the rash and it never showed anything.  Rash creme made it worse.  It is coming more often and lasting longer.  Any ideas would be helpful.

The tests for Lyme Disease are not reliable, partly because they test for antibodies to only one strain.  There are several hundred strains of Lyme.
Lyme Disease is diagnosed by evaluating the patient's symptoms, which is known as a clinical diagnosis.
Physicians will often just look at the test results and tell the patient that he doesn't have Lyme.  They are not willing to make a clinical diagnosis.
A bull's eye rash is considered a definite sign of Lyme Disease.

That was one of the test they did when they did the biopsy's, and it came back that it wasn't Lyme or Lupus.  I will go to that page, do you know if sometimes that tests come back that it isn't then can change over time to it being Lyme.  The test were all done in the 1st year but it is getting harder to live with.  That you for all your help.

This appears to be a "bull's eye rash," which is one of the symptoms of Lyme Disease.

You can compare it to other pictures of Lyme rashes if you go to the Canadian Lyme Foundation, at canlyme *******, and click on "symptoms."
On that page, there is a link to "The Lyme Rash" with many pictures.

I can give you more information if you are interested.
