My girlfriend has red hands and her gyni told her it was to much of either progesterone or estrogen in her system. I can't remember which one. She is 46. I would definitely talk to your doctor or gyni about this.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
If you have had red hands for years then this could be a normal feature with you. If this is something that started suddenly then it could be due to pre or post menopause or due to menopause as the case may be. It could also be due to Raynaud’s phenomenon. Peripheral artery disease, hypothyroidism, anemia or chronic fatigue syndrome.
I think you should discuss these possibilities with your doctor. It is difficult to comment beyond this without examining. A comprehensive investigation is required keeping all the points in mind. Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
