if this happens again and you haven't been to the ER/doctor, call 911! This could be a heart attack, sun stroke, stroke.. w/o more info it's hard to tell. Even at 29 all of these things are possible.  Everything you've described sounds like he needs immediate help! Good luck!!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
What your husband actually suffered from looks like Syncope. For syncope/fainting to occur, either the reticular activating system in the brain needs to lose its blood supply, or both hemispheres of the brain need to be deprived of blood, oxygen, or glucose.
So it can be due to fall in BP, hypoglycemia, dehydration and inadequate electrolytes(sodium and calcium) in the body, postural hypotension, blockage of arteries supplying blood to the brain esp. the carotids, anemia, vasovagal attacks or underlying cardiac or neurological conditions.

I suggest your husband to get a complete check up done from a physician and get these possibilities ruled out.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
