soft small lump on shin, but no pain!!!

I have a small soft lump on my shin but no pain, do you know what it could possibly be

Thank you, I have gotten it checked out, and he said it can from a bang under the skin or a cyst, he said their is nothing their but bone and muscle!!!!

Anything like that should be checked by a professional, most of the time they aren't cancerous but even the slim possibility makes it a smart move to rule that out immediately and get a proper diagnosis from a medical professional.
