what causes blood in urine and pain in back/side

I have been to the ER twice, Hopspitalized once. I have taken 2 CT scans, an Ultra sound, IVP, Renal Scan,  x-ray of the bladder, X-rays, and a scope of my stomach--all test were negative except for the scope which showed 4 ulcers in my stomach.  The pain I have been suffering from (7 weeks to be exact) is on my right side lower back.   I also have a stitch from the pain going along the side of my stomach and traces of urine in my blood.  No one can seem to find out what is wrong other than to keep giving me Percocet for the pain.  when I was being tested for the Renal scan, the pain was so bad after they injected me with lacix(?) that I needed to stop and was taken to the ER.  No stones were shown and all results are "fine".  can anyone tell me what I should be looking for??? The pain never goes away, just the intensity increases or decreases. Please help I am feeling hopeless.

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
Apart from stones, there are several causes for blood in urine as enumerated in: http://www.emedicinehealth.com/blood_in_the_urine/page2_em.htm

All the tests that need to be carried out are enumerated in: http://www.emedicinehealth.com/blood_in_the_urine/page5_em.htm

In your case I think you need an IVP and urine culture.

It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
