Epydimitis or Varicocele?

Hello Dr, first let me start off by giving you some background information on how this all started I believe. Well just a little over a year ago this month, I had a bladder infection, my family doctor gave me antibiotics like Cipro, Bactrim & Z-Pack. He also had a scan done on my lower region & said no kidney, bladder or renal stones where found but said I had a low case of Diverticulitis which my mom & grandpa have but this never gives me problem. Anyways, I went to a urologist last month after complaining of some testicular discomfort as well as some dull pain in my lower left hip area, no discharge as well as this hasn't been sexually transmitted because I have been checked for this with my family doctor, anyways my urologist said this is an infection which can be from anything including my previous bladder infection, so she felt my testicles & said it seemed to have an infection without any swelling at all that wasn't noticed, she also checked my prostate because I said I was urinating more than normal but she said my prostate felt small which was normal. She told me to cut down on the consumption of water after 8pm at night. She also gave me so samples on bladder control & the medicine is called Toviaz. As you can see, this has made me depressed but I do have faith that God will get me through all this along with some natural healing of herbs & etc. I just ordered some Super Natural Silver today & I am waiting for this to come in, if there is anything else you think I should get to knock out this infection completely, then I am all ears. Hope to hear from you soon.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to epididymitis. Epididymitis are caused by sexually transmitted diseases, spread of infection from urinary tract infections or prostate infections, Chlamydia or retrograde (backward) flow of urine when exercising or having sex with a full bladder.
You need a physical examination from an urologist along with urine analysis, complete blood count, testicular ultrasound and scan and tests for chlamydia and gonorrhea. Treatment will depend on the cause. Till then take the medicines prescribed by your doctor.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
