Either I have two newly-developed hardened bodies near the base of my penis, or they've been there all along and I never noticed them before. They do not seem to be structured in a vein-like manner; rather, it's two symmetrical lumps, on of either side of the center-line of my penis...the only word I can think to use is like a "buckle" across my penis from left to right, or vice versa. If I squeeze either of the lumps with any force, it is quite painful. At the same time, my penis now has a rather extreme curvature which was never there before; also, the overall length of my penis seems to have decreased by quite a large amount, and quite suddenly. I have done a LOT of research regarding this condition, and the best I can surmise is Peyronie's Disease, especially since I recently quite taking the drug Propanolol, which I discovered can be directly related to Peyronie's. My basic question is: do males have these hardened areas in their penis? If not, does this sound likely to be Peyronie's, and what do I do now?
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be a thrombosed penile vein, or a plaque associated with Peyronie’s disease, a sebaceous cyst or Mondor’s disease(less likely). I suggest you to consult a urologist and get it examined. Sebaceous cysts are usually painless but can become painful when infected.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
