Hi
Foul smelling urine may indicate an underlying infection and it may also have something to do with one's diet. Intake of medications may alter the color of the urine and may also cause changes in urine odor.
I suggest that a urinalysis and urine culture be done to rule out the presence of bacteria and white blood cells that may suggest a urinary tract infection. Good hygiene and ruling out involvement of gynecologic infections may also help when the urinalysis and culture do not show anything.
Thanks for your post it really help a lot and yes i will go to the doctor
Thenks for your post it really helped a lot
Sometimes what we have eaten, such as asparigus, can cause foul smelling urine. Not drinking enough water can also cause this. Also if it is chronic an infection maybe present.
I'm not in the medical profession but my suggestion would be to go to the doctor and have a urinalysis done. It could be something as simple as dehydration or you may have a UTI or bladder infection.
I always know when I'm getting infection by the smell/color of the urine.
