I need to pee all the time

For the past 2 years ive had the problem where I constantly need to go for a pee very badly.
I have been to my doctor, they said there was no infection, he prescribed Detrusitol, but it doesn't work.
Now they are sending me to a urologist again. It seems like it's going in circles, can you shed some light on my situation?

I never heard of frequent urination is due to the pituitary gland.  is it really.   does it have anything to due w/ adrenals.  that is what i am being tested for .    I have low cortisol levels, low acth, low prolactin, low FT3 and Ft4.  tsh is ok at 0.94.  I urinate all the time.  that is the biggest complaint from my husband.  I never thought about telling my doc that.  Should I?   isn't it a very small chance that it is my pituitary?

thanks

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,

What you seem, to be having is called polyuria. The first possibility that needs to be ruled out is diabetes mellitus and diabetes insipidus.I would suggest that you get your blood sugar levels estimated. If the symptoms persist then pls get other possibilities ruled out.The other possibilities are interstitial cystitis, interstitial nephritis, lupus, hypercalcemia, hyperthyroidism, hypopituitarism, hypoaldosteronism, hypokalemia, renal glycosuria,Addison’s disease and polycythemia.Pls consult a urologist and get these possibilities ruled out.I hope that helps. Take care and regards.
