loose separated epididymis?

Hello is it possible for the epipididymis to become seperated from the testicle? In my right testicle the epipydidymis is not connected and is loose in a certain areas of the epididymis. With the epipdymis not being fully attached to the testicle can it have any affect on fathering children or reduce the sperm count in the right testicle in anyway? thanks

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
How are you? What other symptoms are present?  The epididymis is a  long, narrow, convoluted tube which is a part of the spermatic duct system, that lies on the posterior aspect of each testicle. This is not usually separated  from the testicle.  If there is no history of trauma, it is best that you have this checked by your doctor for proper evaluation. Imaging studies may also help. Take care and do keep us posted.
