Hi,
How are you? What other symptoms are present? The epididymis is a long, narrow, convoluted tube which is a part of the spermatic duct system, that lies on the posterior aspect of each testicle. This is not usually separated from the testicle. If there is no history of trauma, it is best that you have this checked by your doctor for proper evaluation. Imaging studies may also help. Take care and do keep us posted.
There is no other symptoms present but when i ejaculate the bottom of the epididymus hardens like it feels quite hard, it is only the bottome bit that feels quite looses. It got pulled during a sporting accident i just put ice on it as it was quite painful. i would just like to know if a littlde bit of the epididymis is not connected to the testicle will it have any affeect prodcucing sperm?
