Penis head stings after masturbation

So I started masturbating more regularly and for the past week I've been doing it once a day and then got on to twice a day and today when I was in a session I started to feel pain once I stopped ( i didn't use any lube and it was quite rough). The pain is exactly on the left side of the head and I don't think it's an infection since when I go to the toilet I urinate without an issue and no pain, the only pain I feel is whenever I touch my penis or accidentally move it in my pants and I have to be really careful when I move so it doesn't move too often. I am an 18 year old and haven't experienced something like this before and the only thing that I experienced that was somewhat close to this was when soap accidentally got inside of my penis while I was washing it and it felt similar to what I'm feeling now without the pain in the urethra and shaft and all it took before was drinking lots of water for a week and it was gone but now it's different and I'm afraid.

From your description, it sounds like your symptoms are due to your being rough with your sex organ and not using lubrication.  Hopefully, you will not be rough with your penis in the future and will always use a lubricant.  Right now, you could try to use a good, soothing skin cream where you have irritated your organ.

Could this be due to me being too rough while masturbating/doing it too frequently?
