Retrograde Ejaculation

For over 3 years I've had this problem.

Sometimes my urine is cloudy very occasionally it follows sex, but usually it happens for no apparant reason. It's not a regualr thing happens maybe a handful of times a month.

I've been sampling my semen/ejaculate day by day yesterday it was fairly white with some clear fluid surrounding it. Today it was mostly clear with little bits of patchy whiteness and I had cloudy urine with white bits in after (I masturbated 3 times today). Me and my friend are trying for a baby so I want to know if this could be retrograde ejaculation I've had full health checks to rule out diseases etc. I intend to take a home fertilty test in a couple of days.

My age is 21 and as far as I know I'm healthy.

I've shown samples of the cloudy urine with bits in it to Doctors and had it looked at no-one has suggested retrograde ejaculation I just read it online and to be honest it terrifies me. I normally get plenty of white stuff in my ejaculations but once in a while they are a bit clear. The cloudiness is only really noticeable if I catch my urine in a glass it wouldn't usually be noticeable by passing it into the toilet the usual way. I'm also wondering if my hydration levels might be causing it?

One medic just dismissed it as excess fluids my body was flushing out and didn't seem to be worried at all. One place had a look at it under a microscope and said it seemed ok and they sent it off to a laboratory for further tests which came back fine.

Your idea of dehydration is one thing that could explain it I'd had very little to drink in the hours building up to the sample I took today.

Only surgery was circumcision at age of 4.

I've had my urine checked for stis and utis an I've shown samples of the cloudiness with bits floatnig in it to my Doctor. I've also has blood tests done.

No pain on urination or ejaculation.

Most times my urine is crystal clear.

For the last week I've been taking samples immediately after ejaculation and apart from today they've all looked fine.

Hi,

Given your age ,I do not think this is a case of retrograde ejaculation. The appearance of one's urine may be due to several factors.The presence of an infection, dehydration or decreased water intake, intake of certain medications, reaction of urine metabolities with the container and underlying systemic diseases like liver or gallbladder disease may affect gross urinary character.

I suggest that you have a baseline urinalysis done. Presence of sperm in your urine may help determine the diagnosis.

Are there other associated conditions like pain in urination or pain in ejaculation?

Any previous surgeries or instrumentations before?
