Testicles are not sensitive?

Hi,
I was recently hit by a baseball in both testicles.  Both swelled up for about an hour, and were slightly tender, only if squeezed, for several more hours.  While getting hit hurt, it didn't hurt all that much.  I was bent over for about 5 seconds and was able to continue playing within 15 seconds.  My wife jokes that I have steel balls, but I am a little concerned over having "numb nuts".  Is this an actual condition and is there any cause for this, and if so, is there a treatment or remedy.  I would rather have a pair of normal and sensitive testicles.

I have noticed that the consistency of my testicles seem to change, but for the most part are quite firm.  After the above accident, they were very, very hard while swollen, and then they were softer than normal for a day or two.  My left testicle feels slightly smaller than the right, but I do not know if the left has gotten smaller or if the right has gotten larger.  I did see an urologist about a month after, and he said everything seemed fine, that I have a slight hydrocele around the right testicle.  He also said not to worry about my thinking that the left was smaller, as I was in the 95th percentile for testicle size (news to me!)   Did not mention to him that my balls seem to be not very sensitive, don't know why.  Did not have an ultrasound done.

Hi,
How are you? Consistency of testicles can change due to certain conditions like atrophy, varicocele, hydrocele etc.
Do you experience any other symptoms like dragging pain, heaviness, decrease in size of testicles etc.
Trauma can lead to torsion of testis there by causing atrophy.
It is better to get an ultrasound scrotum done and visit a urologist with the reports.
All the best.
