white spot on tip of penis head/ burning urine

Hi, i'm 22 and have been sexually active with my current girlfriend for nearly 2 years. Just about a week ago i've noticed a white spot on the tip of my penis head right near the hole. It looked like acne at first but when i've poked at it, it seems to be hard and felt like there is a small ball in there. It looks somewhat of a lesion. Another thing about this is that everytime I would need to urine, once the urine comes out, it will automatically burn. The reason of this I believe is that the white spot is right near the hole and the urine comes in contact with the spot and causes it to burn. So after everyday, I would shower and clean this area with warm water and soap. After a few days, another smaller spot formed right below it. These spots look like a burn of some sort. If there is any information that you can help me with, that would great. I can also take photos if needed.

Hi,

Lesions usually noted in the head of the penis or the glans may be indicative of a balanitis. Fungal infection ( candida ) may be a primary cause .This may present with redness, pain and itchiness.Other causes will be bacterial and viral infections as well as mechanical injuries. A contact or allergic dermatitis may also be a differential.STD's may also be considered as some of these diseases may present as flat plaquelike lesions.

The above conditions I have mentioned are just differentials.A urologic and dermatologic consult may be able to shed some light with regards to the cause of the lesions. In cases wherein dermatologic conditions are involved, a complete physical examination is necessary.

Hey,

The lesion looks more flat than elevated. There are some redness surrounding the white spot. There is no itchness anywhere in the private area but there is pain. Pain like as if something got into contact with the spot for example clothing. It would fee like touching a burn.

Hi.

With an active sexual history, it is necessary to have an initial assessment with your urologist.

Is the lesion elevated or flat?

Is there associated redness?

Is there pain or itchiness associated with the spot?

A thorough evaluation by your physician will be able to help  determine the cause of the lesions. A urinalysis  will be able to rule out any underlying infection that may also explain the burning that accompanies urination.

Discuss with your physician the possible differentials of balanitis, a fungal infection, a dermatitis and a viral infection ( eg wart). These are just differentials. Your physician will be able to guide you.

Keep us posted with regards to your progress.
