Testosterone & Sexual Function

I am a healthy 22 year old male, 6'2 175 lbs.  I work out regularly around 5 days a week and eat a healthy diet.  I have noticed during the past 2 years I have been having an extremely low sex drive,  much weaker and much less frequent erections (very rare morning erections even), and premature ejaculation.  I also am losing strength, focus, and am having depression symptoms, and gynocomastia.  I went in and my physician checked my testosterone levels, and I had a total of 323, and free of 10.  She has referred me to a urologist which I am seeing next week.  I have been doing some online research on testosterone and it kind of looks like I have the levels of a sick 80 year old man.  Normal adults at my age usually have levels atleast twice as high as mine and are at their peaks.  I was wondering when do most urologists prescribe testosterone replacement therapy and if they would consider it for a 22 year old?  I live a very healthy lifestyle which I think would raise my levels but they are extremely low.  I am also being tested for hypogonadism with an MRI and testicular ultrasound.  Do you think I qualify for TRT and how much does TRT usually raise your levels?

Any update on what you learned? I am 33 and have similar symptoms and total T of 405. First time I was ever tested and going to see a urologist as it seems to be outside of my PCP's scope.

Hi, I was diagnosed as having a low testosterone level in 2003. Mine waas around the 220.
Now I take monthly testosterone injections. I have been able to self inject but am monitored by a doctor.

I think that I now have a normal sex drive, but have been unable to do anything due to other urological problems.

Taking these injections is not that bad I hope that you will get things sorted out.

All the best,

Ron
