Hi,
Thanks for writing in. It I difficult to say whether this is a complicated UTI or not without including physical examination, amount of urine excreted per day, amount of protein loss per day etc.
You should consult a urologist for further work up and get a renal function tests done for confirming whether UTI is complicated or not.
Best.

Thanks  Dr_Veena! :) now I'm wanting to get a urine culture because I may have a UTI.
Do you think that if ever I have a UTI, is it complicated or how should I say this 'normal' UTI based on my results? :-s

Hi,
Thanks for writing in. Urine analysis is interpreted with help of components mentioned in that report. Your report suggests infection, because of the presence of bacteria and pus cells. Presence of protein in the urine analysis indicates kidney function, but the amount of protein loss through urione needs to be known to come to a conclusion.
Get a urine culture for making the choice of antibiotic.
Best.
