I had a TURP back in May. I still experience loss of bladder control especially if coughing sneezing etc. Sometimes the need to go is overtaken by leakage if I do not get to toilet in time. I have been told there is a sling operation which supports the urethra and would welcome comments from members who have had this procedure and its success. I still wear 2 Tenna pads per day despite the TURP

One of the side effects of TURP is incontinence.  Other side effects include ED and retrograde ejaculation.  I had this surgery about 15 years ago and the side effect I had was retrograde ejaculation.  I now ejaculated normally.

This is something that could get better with time and your urologist may be able to prescribe some medications to help also.

Good luck.
