burning sensation and pus

Hi,
the symptoms started around 6 months ago where i had a problem in urination very frequent, then i had sexual intercourse and after that i had a colourless fluid from my penis and a burning sensation but it stopped in 3 days i didnt take any medication but i went to a doctor in a weeks time and got tested for hiv hpv chlamidiya gonorhea and cyphilis all came negative but the problem persisted from time to time then when i had sex again the symptoms appeared again so i went to the doctor who gave me antiobiotics whaich improved my situation , but as soon as i had intercourse again the same symptoms arose and now im on antibiotics again and the doctor said there is pus and some blood in my urine and that a urine culture is going to be preformed , should i be worried ? i m a medical student and i did use protection but the condom broke on several occasions . and now im taking the antibiotics and waiting for the urine culture results . thank you for your help

HI ,
thanks for the help but the urine culture was negative as well so the doctors are suspecting chronic non bacterial prostitis which is a very weird diagnosis for someone my age , and i repeated the urine culture twice and they were both negative so i doubt its an infection , at the moment im gonna do some more urine tests to see where the problem exactly is . thank you for your help

Hello,
Pus cells in urine are often indicative of infection for which you should get a urine culture sensitivity done. However for the clearless fluid from the penis, get Chlamydia and gonorrhea ruled out. It is possible to get false positive or false negative results with the standard tests for Chlamydia. Hence it would be wise to repeat the tests. Else you can opt for specific tests for Chlamydia which include Nucleic acid amplification tests (NAAT, to find the genetic material of Chlamydia), Nucleic acid hybridization tests (DNA probe test, Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA, EIA), Direct fluorescent antibody test (DFA) or chlamydia culture.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
