MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
UTI does not effect the periods. Pregnancy is the first possibility for delayed periods. I sincerely suggest you to do a urine for pregnancy test and if the test comes negative, then get the other causes of delayed periods ruled out from a gynecologist.  It can happen because of hormonal imbalance, increased stress, eating disorder, increased smoking, alcohol or caffeine use and medical conditions like PCOS, fibroid, polyps and endometriosis.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
