Hi,
A renal scan is a must to find out the cause of the pain. There’s a high possibility of renal stones coming down into the bladder and causing the pain in the bladder area and the presence of stone in the urinary tract can predispose a person to recurrent UTI’s.
GGT is an enzyme which is specific for the liver disease and it can be elevated in the presence of an obstructive disease of the biliary tree and it is also raised in people who abuse alcohol.
I sincerely hope that helps. Please do keep me posted. Warm regards.
